Importantly, MTE was not only responsible for designing the turnaround strategy but also committed to leading its implementation on site.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFrom mid-2025, MTE's mining engineering, operational, and technical teams were deployed to Uitkomst to execute the approved strategy. This included underground mine planning and layout optimisation, processing plant improvement initiatives, operational restructuring, performance management systems, and targeted interventions across the mining and processing value chain.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThroughout the engagement, MTE maintained a disciplined and objective assessment of the operation's performance. While the turnaround strategy delivered valuable operational insights and improvements, our review confirmed that the mine remained a marginal operation requiring additional capital investment to achieve sustainable long-term performance.
