In partnership with our Toronto-based client, MTE delivered the civil construction scope for the Aukum Graphite Project in Namibia during 2021. Drawing on our multidisciplinary expertise, MTE provided integrated mining engineering, procurement, and mineral processing support throughout various stages of the project.

Our civil construction team was responsible for the development of key mining infrastructure required for the graphite processing plant, while our procurement and processing divisions assisted with the design, manufacture, supply, and installation of critical processing plant components. MTE also delivered comprehensive procurement services, including the sourcing and supply of executive vehicles and other operational requirements essential to project execution.

As the project continues to progress, our mining engineering team is evaluating viable mining methods and development strategies for the orebody, supporting the client's long-term operational objectives. This project demonstrates MTE's ability to provide end-to-end mining project development solutions, combining engineering expertise, mineral processing knowledge, procurement capabilities, and practical project execution to deliver sustainable outcomes across the mining value chain.
