Working hand-in-hand with our Ugandan client, MTE’s geology, mining and engineering teams have played a key role in advancing the project through detailed exploration planning, resource evaluation, site preparation and mine development studies. These activities have been focused on improving the understanding of the mineral resource, evaluating potential mining approaches and establishing the technical foundations required for future project development.

In parallel, the MTE processing plant team undertook the early-stage design and engineering of a bespoke mineral processing facility, tailored specifically to the geological characteristics and metallurgical properties identified at site. This approach ensured that the proposed processing solution was technically appropriate, operationally efficient and capable of maximising resource recovery while supporting the long-term sustainability of the project.

MTE’s involvement has focused on providing geological, mining, engineering and project development advisory services to support the client’s evaluation of the opportunity. Through resource assessment, mine development studies, processing plant design and technical reviews, MTE has assisted the client in developing a comprehensive understanding of the project’s technical potential, development requirements and future capital needs.

The project remains under evaluation by the client, with final investment and development decisions still to be made. Should the client elect to proceed with the next phase of development, MTE is well positioned to provide further technical support, project implementation services and operational assistance as required.
