Working hand-in-hand with our Iceland-based client, MTE’s geology, mining and engineering teams are advancing the next phase of project development across a number of highly prospective claims, permits and mining right areas. Current activities include exploration planning, geological assessments, resource evaluation, site planning and operational readiness initiatives designed to support the efficient development of these mineral assets.
As part of the project development process, MTE’s processing plant team has commenced the early-stage design and engineering of a processing facility specifically tailored to the geological and metallurgical characteristics identified across the project areas. This bespoke approach ensures that the proposed processing solution is technically aligned with the orebody, maximising recovery efficiencies while supporting sustainable and cost-effective operations.
MTE’s integrated project development approach combines geological, mining and processing expertise to assist the client in progressing the project from exploration and evaluation through to development and production. These services are aimed at reducing project risk, enhancing operational planning and establishing a strong foundation for long-term success.
Upon commencement of mining operations, MTE is positioned to provide a comprehensive mine operator service, delivering end-to-end support across mining, mineral processing and all associated operational requirements. This includes mine development, operational management, maintenance support, procurement, workforce mobilisation and the implementation of systems and processes required to establish and sustain a successful mining operation.
The project highlights MTE’s capability to transform exploration-stage opportunities into operationally ready mining ventures through practical execution, technical expertise and integrated project delivery.
